It was so easy, because it was just like so many others, each single step leading him closer and closer to this inevitable end. Fate itself solidified the invisible footprints which lay behind him long before he was born. This step, although identical in its formation and execution, differed only in its result. All paces before this one ended with a reunion with the ground it had only briefly departed from. This step knew no such conclusion. Before him stood only a gentle, liberating wait for the faraway world to rise up steadily to meet him, beckoning to him all the way, pleading for his presence and warm embrace. For Mother Earth could not bear this vacuum separating her from her child, and cried out for him. And he accepted. His step started silent and ended with a cannon-like blast. He had shattered through himself. His own fate, his own destiny, his own ending, he defied them all. He beat them all! His victory rose up into the air and through the earth, crashing and reverberating into every media. And by conservation of momentum, the vibrations never ceased, but continued on, through the earth, through the air, through the cement and water, echoing ever so faintly to the world's every corner. Thus so, he was forever heard by everyone and everything, and yet none would know, for none could understand the infinitesimal whisper.
