Familiar sound
In my head pounds,
As I walk to escape from me.

Cast out by inferiority,
By a complex to arrest 
Affinity to conformity.
God of this digital realm,
the captain's now at the helm.
But when I walk in your mind
I see you sneer and you wink,
On the brink of admitting 
We know I've fallen behind.

I've got nobody to blame,
Didn't know the rules of the game,
So is that why, when in your eyes,
I bow down in shame?
I'm all I was meant to be,
So don't you look down on me,
I won't cry when you lie and defy,
And claim I could have been free.
