I walked along the fields of blood, the battle raged ahead. I quickly dash across the mud, where life and death were wed. I was at peace within my soul, focused and ready to fight. The battle had raged beyond control And lit up the lonely night. I made it to the place of death and soon began to creep, but as I found my pray at rest in that instant I fell asleep. The sleep was false, that much I knew; reality froze in time. The world hung still, but still time flew, leaving me far behind. I made it to the place of death but could not slay the beast, I could see only what I had just seen In the instant I fell asleep. I woke as fast as I had left, the darkness now had fled. I wondered just how long I slept But then my sight went red. I woke as fast as I had left, I knew my eyes had lied. for in the moment that I slept I had no less than died.
